Getting onto Public Bodies

The UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology want to encourage and support more women onto public boards, where they are currently under-represented. Being a member of a public board develops a range of important skills, such as strategic thinking and problem solving. It provides valuable networking opportunities and a chance to put professional knowledge into broader use for the benefit of your profession and for society as a whole. If you are well established in this sector and are interested in applying for a board vacancy in the future, this workshop is for you.
